Follow a quick flight in the 210 over to Drumheller. Drumheller has about the cheapest fuel in Alberta ($1.90/l 100LL), an airport manager, new pavement and trying to get their courtesy car going again. Lots to see in the town of Drumheller. The Town has taken over the airport knowing it is good for Tourism! Go for a visit..... Also check out the farm strip on the way over - still too wet! Musi...

THE 'SNOWFLAKE' RV FORMATION TEAM - WHO MIGHT BE THESE CRAZY GUYS?
My dad was the best! Help out with new r.v. projects learned in 67 ! Flew lots of aircraft ! Sad to say not any reconection from the flyen so called freinds! He helped build these birds! Woe
Wow! He sounds great. This was just a way to put some of the flying footage on UA-cam and by no means the entire Snowflake story or history! If your Dad helped a lot with building he sure deserves credit! No builders means no airplanes and no ‘Snowflakes’. What was his name - so he can be recognized. Thanks for the additional history! Appreciated!
No credit to my dad why?
Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?
why yes! Prepared Dijon Mustard is a favorite
Cool
You don’t age Chuck, I see all the bellies are real clean
He doesn’t age is right! Still a kid! Ha!
Air looked a touch rough in places.
Ha! Yes sir. A wee bit bumpy!

Crap video spoilt by crap music .
I like your video
Perfeito.
Army OH-13, which I worked on in VN and Germany 1967-1969.
Why the music
Good point. The initial music was theirs on a promo video. Should post another with no other music though. Good thought.
Turbo prop biplane.
Cool touch with the shots from the rotor blade. Reminds me of the county fair
Neat!
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
I loved watching this video. Thank you for posting.
Sensacional.
Milk River?
Red Deer. Cool country.
So Cool, but powerlines strung across the river would have me very worried. I'm sure this pilot knows the area very well!!
You bet. It was well scouted and used many times before! Good point for sure!
Beautiful footage! Freaken that that that damn crap noise you put n there .
Fantástic.
How nice to have all those LZs.
id still love a ride in this pretty chopper. shame your not in the Texas Panhandle area.
Nice film Brad
Hey thanks! Fun trip!
Wish I was there. I saw a flyby with a Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane all together, WOW . Thanks for video. Oh by the way I live in UK, Hatfield is my home town and had the pleasure to work for British Aerospace in Hatfield which used to be called Dehaviland. Mosquitos home.
That is very cool history. Thank you!
I can add some more which may be helpful. The Mosquito, Sir Geffery De Havilland(Direct cousin of Olivier, British/American Actress) built the Mos out of WOOD for two reasons. A. Aluminium was scarce and wood should not show on RADAR. B. His company in Hatfield, Hertfordshire used to make propellers out of wood and techniques in production ensured they could survive the enormous stresses involved. So, lets make the entire frame out of wood too!! He said In one of the mosquito books I read, the whole thing was very top secret so the first was built at South Mimms a short distance from the Hatfield site(Museum still present). A short visit one day from government officials encountered a problem. The aircraft was luckily still only at complete wooden frame stage. One of the visitors seemed too interested in the engineering details which aroused quiet suspicion. In depth questions not befitting his job. He was told quickly that it is ONLY a mock up idea! There is no way a wooden frame could possibly tolerate the stresses produced by two Merlin's It would fall apart in seconds. The rouse worked. After the event, alarms were raised to the government, they found the visitor was a SPY for the Nazis. After the war, documents were found that he had indeed fallen for the rouse. Believing the false logic of wood/Merlins/disintegration he was given he never bothered to report what he had seen ! The rest is history, but a close call ! Regards Kevin UK. @@letsflyinternational
You can tell a fine helicopter pilot by the way he: A) Looks to where he wants to go and then the aircraft is an extension of his body that takes him there. B) Has the cyclic control by the tips of his fingers. C) Comes straight to a decisive point when landing.
muito bom
This sure brought back some fond memories for me! Thanks for creating and posting this video. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to fly RC helicopters back in the day. Radio control helicopters have built some friendships worldwide for me that continue on to this day. Cheers!
Wow! GMP helicopters were THE RC machine of the day - if it wasn't for the Cricket and Cobra we wouldn't have gotten anywhere! So much fun! And you were our hero! When we saw you fly inverted (invert switch and all) we couldn't believe our eyes! So nice to have you comment and we Thank you and your Dad and the GMP crew for some great times! You are still our hero! Cheers!
Awsome video sir 👍
Thank you. A lot of wrecks to learn. Ha!
